What is an Assisted (Assistive) Listening System?

Personal assistive hearing system An assistive listening system consists of an FM transmitter that takes the audio from the PA system and receivers that are worn by anyone is hearing impaired.

The purpose of the system is to enhance the listening experience for the hard of hearing or for language translation.
